Eron Gordon rising above big brother's shadow?

Eron Gordon is an eighth grader in Indiana and is brother to NBA star, Eric Gordon.  Eron is a very talented basketball star and is getting in the news because of it.  He has already picked up offers from some big name schools including his brother's Alma Mater, Indiana.  Some other schools that are interested are Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Xavier, and Ohio State.

Here's a link to learn more about the young star:

This is definitely a story I will be paying close attention to in the upcoming years.  I also want to get out and see the little fella.  He has to be phenomenal if he already has these offers from these Big Ten schools.  I personally hope he chooses Indiana because that's where his brother went and I am an IU fan!!

IU ranked #1 in preseason rankings

I am absolutely thrilled to see next year's IU's men's basketball team play.  After a season like this, and with all the recruits and returning players, next season is shaping up to be a good one!

IU has always been my favorite basketball team and I'm excited to see what they can do next year with the incoming freshman and all the major experience coming back.  With Cody Zeller staying, we return our top scorer, rebounder, and shot blocker.  It will also be funny to see how many people hop on the bang-wagon!

Dwight Howard "bigger" than management?

In the past week, there have been reports from the Orlando Magic that Dwight Howard has asked for his coach, Stan Van Gundy, to be fired.

I think Dwight needs to keep his mouth shut and worry about his play.  Players that make this amount of money think they can say whatever.  They can't! Just play the game that you were blessed with the amazing talent to play.  Dwight is already in the spotlight enough for his trade talk.  He should just focus on helping his team win games.
